TOGod appeared to an old woman in a village.
She told the priest about this, who, taking care of the spiritual order of his parishioner, told her:
– If God appears to you next time, ask Him to tell you about my sins, which are only known to Him. This will be sufficient proof that it is God, and not someone else, who appears to you.
The woman came a month later, and the priest asked if God had appeared to her again. She nodded affirmatively.
– Did you ask Him a question?
– Yes, I did.
– And what did he say?
– He said, “Tell your priest that I have forgotten his sins.”
“Indeed, it was God,” said the priest.
